How prescriptions are issued
Every prescription medication on ReddyDoc is issued only after a licensed clinician has reviewed your medical questionnaire and determined that the medication is clinically appropriate for you. Prescriptions are written by clinicians who are licensed in your state of residence.
There is no separate consultation fee; clinician review is included in the price of the product.
Consultation outcomes
- Approved — prescription is written and sent to our partner pharmacy for fulfillment.
- More information requested — the clinician will message you through the secure portal to ask follow-up questions before deciding.
- Declined — the clinician has determined the medication is not appropriate. You receive a written explanation and a full refund. Common decline reasons include contraindications with other medications, incomplete intake, or clinical factors surfaced by the questionnaire.
Refills
Where clinically appropriate, prescriptions may include refills. Refill availability, quantity, and duration are determined by the prescribing clinician and vary by medication and by state law. You will see your refill availability in your My Account area.
Controlled substances
ReddyDoc does not currently prescribe or dispense controlled substances (DEA Schedule II–V) via our telehealth platform.
Transfer of your prescription
You may request that a prescription issued through ReddyDoc be transferred to a different pharmacy of your choosing. Email Care@Reddydoc.com with your order number and the destination pharmacy’s name, address, and phone number. Transfer processing typically takes 1–3 business days.
Prescription records
You may request a copy of any prescription written for you through ReddyDoc at any time by emailing Care@Reddydoc.com. Records are retained in accordance with federal and state Board of Pharmacy requirements.
Contraindications and interactions
Provide complete and accurate answers on your intake, including all current medications and supplements, allergies, and medical conditions. The clinician uses these to check for contraindications and drug interactions. Omissions can result in unsafe prescribing.
