Telemedicine Terms & Informed Consent
These Telemedicine Terms describe how ReddyDoc’s online medical consultation service works, what it can and cannot do, and the terms you agree to when using it. They supplement — and do not replace — our Terms of Service, HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, and Privacy Policy.
What Telemedicine Is
“Telemedicine” (also called telehealth) means delivering healthcare services — including medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and prescription of medications — using electronic communication rather than an in-person office visit. ReddyDoc uses a written asynchronous (“store-and-forward”) model: you complete a medical questionnaire, a licensed U.S. clinician reviews your responses, and the clinician either writes a prescription, requests additional information, or declines with an explanation.
Who Can Use ReddyDoc
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) to use ReddyDoc. You must be physically located in a U.S. state where our clinicians are licensed at the time of your consultation and shipping. The current list of supported states is on our Licensing & Accreditation page. You must provide truthful, complete, and current health information — decisions your clinician makes rely on the accuracy of what you tell us.
What Telemedicine Is Not Suitable For
ReddyDoc is not appropriate for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, signs of stroke, thoughts of self-harm, or any other medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. ReddyDoc is also not a substitute for an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider; if you have complex or chronic conditions, please continue to work with your in-person care team.
Informed Consent to Treatment
By submitting a consultation request through ReddyDoc, you consent to receive medical care via telemedicine and acknowledge that you understand:
- The clinician who reviews your case may not physically examine you. Your evaluation is based on the information you provide, your health history, and any documentation you upload.
- Telemedicine has limits. A clinician may decide that your case requires an in-person evaluation and decline to prescribe.
- You have the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time.
- You have the right to a second opinion from another clinician, at your expense.
- You may request a copy of your medical record at any time by emailing Care@Reddydoc.com.
- The security of electronic communication is high but not absolute. See our HIPAA Notice for how your protected health information is handled.
Prescriptions
Not every consultation results in a prescription. Your clinician may decline based on the information you provide, contraindications with other medications, or clinical judgment. If your consultation is declined, you will not be charged. See our Prescription Policy for details on how prescriptions are written, filled, and refilled, and our Return & Refund Policy for what happens if a shipment is damaged or lost.
Follow-up Care
If you experience side effects, allergic reaction, or any concerning symptom after starting a medication prescribed through ReddyDoc, stop taking the medication and contact your care team through My Account or, if the symptom is severe or an emergency, call 911. Follow-up messaging with your care team is included in the price of your prescription; there is no additional consultation fee for questions about a medication you have already received.
Complaints & Reporting
To raise a concern about the care you received, email Care@Reddydoc.com in the first instance. You also have the right to file a complaint directly with the state medical board where your treating clinician is licensed, or with the state Board of Pharmacy where your medication was dispensed. Contact information for state boards is listed on our Licensing & Accreditation page.
Changes to These Terms
ReddyDoc may update these Telemedicine Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered patients and posted at the top of this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Effective date: 2026-08-15.
